Storyline:
The season begins with Sultan Tugrul ordering an expedition to Anatolia in response to the Byzantine Emperor's brutal killing of innocent Turks. Alparslan, Tugrul's son, saves a Turkmen girl named Akça Hatun, who is secretly a spy for the Byzantines. As Alparslan and Akça's relationship deepens, he discovers her true identity, but she eventually switches sides and works for the Seljuks. Meanwhile, the Byzantines plot against the Seljuks, leading to the battle of Pasinler, which Alparslan wins, earning him the title of heir to the throne. However, Akça's betrayal is revealed, and she dies in battle before they can marry. The season ends with Alparslan conquering Vaspurakan and executing the treacherous Kekavmenos, solidifying his position as a powerful leader. Throughout the season, Alparslan faces challenges from both within and outside his empire, but ultimately emerges victorious.
